Ticino DOC Sauvignon
Varietal composition: Sauvignon Blanc
Vinification: A very gentle pressing of the crushed and destemmed grapes yields the first-run juice that is then fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 16–18 C.
Alcohol content: 12.5 % Vol.
Color: Straw yellow with flashes of pale green.
Bouquet: Intense and complex, with hints of nettle, citrus and elderflower. Delicate nuances of white peach.
Palate: Fresh and fruity, well balanced and harmonious. Mineral, salty, persistent at the finish. A great aperitif wine!
Dining choices: Makes a fine match for antipasti or for crustaceans and seafood generally, and will also be served as an aperitif.
Serving temperature : 10 - 12° C
Aging: The Ronco Bain 2019 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in summer 2020 and will maintain its character through 2023 and beyond if properly cellared.
